Review: Breathless Body 3: HIIT It Big I got several new workout DVD’s for the holidays, bought a few and since last week was focused on re-building strength, this week we put a few of the new ones in the mix. The first new one I’m not going to review yet because it would get me in trouble. The venom I spewed while doing that workout because we didn’t know you could turn off the instructional mode was epic. We will do it again as a full workout as it was intended and when Aunt Flo vacates because honestly, I think I should not do new workouts when she visits. It skews my reality. But last night’s was good enough that I feel okay in reviewing it.Breathless Body 3: HIIT IT BIG is one of the ones I bought

Hi Everyone!Today’s Day 9 workout was intense! It’s a 15 Minute Cardio HIIT workout. It utilizes plyometric moves to burn fat, and get your body working at a high level of intensity. I definitely felt the burn during this workout. I followed this routine up with 2 miles of running on the treadmill while Jesse went through the workout

I have a love/hate relationship with cardio. I love not doing it, and I hate doing it. I recognize that it’s good for me so I do it regularly each week, but let’s be honest: what part of feeling like you’re about to endure a heart attack and/or anaphylaxis is enjoyable? That’s why when I do cardio, I have to find ways to make myself forget that I’m doing it. Legal ways.Group classes are always a great option to induce cardio amnesia, but sometimes they just don’t fit into your schedule, or you find yourself without the extra funds

I despise the word “diet”. I don’t diet. I never have. I don’t subscribe to diets as a means to losing weight because they do not work. But I accidentally realized recently while reading about Intermittent Fasting, that it’s an eating schedule I’ve kept for almost 20 years now, which allows me to eat whatever I want and what has probably kept me the same weight and size now as I was in high school.Continue Reading…Lose Weight Fast by Intermittent Fasting | The 8 Hour Diet & The Fast Diet* FACEBOOK * TWITTER * BLOGLOVIN’ * PINTEREST *

On FitnessWe all want to get more for less, including a bigger payoff from our workouts in less time.High-intensity interval training (HIIT) helps you do that by improving your current fitness level in short sessions, working to increase your metabolism and cutting your workout sessions to a fraction of the time. Interval training alternates high-intensity bursts of exercise with periods of low-intensity exercise, or active rest. HIIT requires you to raise your heart rates to 85% or more of its maximum capacity.
