I love feedback. I LOVE IT SO MUCH. Not only does it tell me what people do and don’t like about my workouts, helping me choreograph better workouts, but sometimes the feedback is so entertaining it just makes my day. Y’all pick right up on my cues that I like to laugh, and deliver your feedback in so many entertaining ways!Take Bill Collins, for example. He’s on Google+ and he messaged me a week or so ago saying he wanted to not only try one of my Quickie Workouts, but he’d do two in row because apparently he’s a stud or something, and he asked me to recommend a couple workouts.I promptly forgot all about it was just about to get back to him when I got a notification.

A Few Good Snacks… 11 Comments Friday, November 8th, 2013 So last week was Halloween and let’s face it – some of the ‘treats’ that may have found (or are still finding) their way into your mouth are downright scary.  Did you know that there are 25 ingredients in Plain M&M’s, 19 in a Snickers bar and 28 in an Almond Joy? And I don’t know about you but if I were going to write a recipe for something with ‘Joy’ in the name PGPR and Sodium Metabisulfite wouldn’t be top contenders for the ingredient list… Be afraid people. Be VERY afraid.Halloween aside healthy snack and treat options are few and far between and these days, life moves pretty fast. Eating on the go is the rule rather than the exception. Finding Paleo friendly foods that travel well, are nutritious, contain quality ingredients, and that aren’t laden with ‘natural’ sugars is quite a feat.

2 Flares2 Flares × Exercising from home is really no different than working out at a gym or boot camp, the BIG difference is usually the one you make big. Some women like working out in the privacy and comfort of their own homes, others are embarrassed when starting a program, and yet others are grossed out by sweat, germs, and others using the same equipment in general. I own a women’s fitness boot camp and I am a big believer in community, whether offline or online, I think it’s great to join in SOME type of group that encourages and supports each other.

My Paleo Journey 3 Comments Monday, August 5th, 2013 Written by: MikeIt all started out with taking Levaquin for an infection I had (well actually before that – I had to take heavy doses of antibiotics when I was 7 months old). Shortly after taking the antibiotic, I noticed my stomach was becoming more irritable. I brought this up to my ‘integrated medicine’ doctor and he diagnosed me with IBD (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and suggested I go on the candida diet. Which I did, before my wedding (hey, I gotta look good naked!) — I did feel somewhat better, but there were still issues with my stomach.Around that time a co-worker of mine died at 36 years of age, heart attack.

I LOVE Tim’s blog posts like this… it’s like a formula to go from zero to “successful.”  While you  may not be positioned to write a book, or pitch it, or get an advance, you can learn a lot from this long guest post. With that, I’ll let you go over there now.  It’s a long post, but it’s worth it. I need to print all of the posts like this on Tim’s blog and study them! How a First-Time Author Got a 7-Figure Book Deal This entry was posted on Wednesday, April 17th, 2013 at 7:07 am and is filed under Business, Entrepreneur, On writing.
