People will often feel inclined to explain to you why the numerous constraints in their lives has prevented them to achieve the their goal. They have so much else going on in their lives. A job, a girlfriend, social events to attend. Time-consuming hobbies. A car that needs fixing or some other project of critical importance. Those are the reasons why they’re out of shape or have attained only mediocre results.
For them, the idea of losing bodyfat or attaining some degree of muscularity is about time. The notion that you have to spend hours in the gym and meticulously plan your diet every day is accepted as a truism. An Open Letter to Taco Bell

Dear Taco Bell,
It has come to my attention that you have recently created a Drive-Thru Diet. You are clearly taking bold new steps to change the way Americans view healthy eating, so I am writing this letter to express my gratitude and enthusiasm and to offer insight for further improvement.
I first noticed your “Drive-Thru Diet” ad on a billboard outside of a childrens’ extra-curricular learning studio in west Los Angeles. Ever the inquiring mind, I visited Tacobell.com for some heavy research. I read Christine Dougherty’s 80 word story about losing 50 lbs over 2 years with Taco Bell. Very convincing. Then I watched TV personality Chris Rose interview four paid actors, and every single actor praised Taco Bell’s seven healthy Fresco menu items. I’m about to make the leap from nutrition-help to self-help.
Only, it’s not actually a leap…it’s barely a hop.
Let’ start with a generalization:
I’m guessing that you would like to have a bit less body fat, a bit more money and a lot more time.
Maybe you want to have a LOT less body fat, a LOT more money and a LOT more time.
The key is- there’s a RELATIONSHIP between these three things.
And it’s a big one.
Here’s a personal fact that plays into this story ==> I spend as much money on snacks, lunches and coffee’s away from my home as I do on gas for my car every month.
And I won’t be vague….I spent $311.22 in November on ’snacks, lunches and coffees’ eaten or drank away from my home.

According to the latest data collected for the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey [NHANES], Americans are still getting fatter, but they may be getting fatter at a slightly slower rate.
Data from 1988-1994 showed that obesity in adults had increased by approximately 8 % in the United States since 1976-1980, after being relatively stable over the period 1960-1980.

By 2007-2008, 33.8% of all Americans were obese (BMI = 30+), while the percentage of overweight Americans had jumped to 68% (BMI = 25+)

68%…not good.
But wait, there may be good news.
The data also showed that during the period from 1999-2008, female obesity levels showed no statistically significant changes. Similar results have been seen for males since 2003.
What does this mean?

This means that the increases in obesity we have been seeing since 1976 may be slowing down.
America may be reaching “peak obesity”.

Some days, a fork and spoon can feel like a bit of a hassle. Okay, not really, but the temptation to simply drink our food is one we give into now and then when convenience is a priority. A Primal shake is a good way to mix things up, treat yourself to a healthy snack in the afternoon or add a little extra something to an evening meal. Some shakes, even without the addition of dairy or added sugar, can even satisfy a hankering for dessert.
When you’re making a shake, it’s tempting to throw anything that looks good into the blender, stick a straw in it and suck it down. But be careful; what started as a healthy snack or meal-replacement can quickly turn into a huge glass of carbs and sugar.

The basis of Tabata Training is 4 minutes of intense interval training/circuit training. What you are doing is taking an exercise we'll use sprints as an example here.
Sprint as hard as you can for 20 seconds
Walk for 10 seconds
Repeat 7 more times for a total of 8 sets.
So what you have is a total of 4 minutes workout time.
Tabata Training can be done with a number of different exercises the idea is to use an exercise that gets the whole body involved or at least the major muscle groups.Tabata Training can be done with Barbells, Dumbells, Kettlebells or just Bodyweight exercises. I'll give you some other exercises and routines to try in a minute but first let me give you some background and how Tabatas work.
