Share I don’t know about you, but I can’t stand the low-rent fitness schlock that keeps clogging up the Internet. What you get is a cheeky headline and a re-hash of yesterday’s news, optimized for page views, retweets and an indiscriminate Facebook crowd.Remember when people actually wrote articles and shared their real thoughts, their own ideas and their actual experiences? That time is long gone. Personally, I don’t think anyone should be wasting their time in the fitnessphere. You will not find ‘7 Surprising Secrets to Fat Burning’ or ‘Top 13 Back Exercises’ in this oozing pit of attention starved bullshittery, so please stop looking, unless you want to be dragged down with the rest of them.Suffice to say, I’m not really keen on the writing scene around here – but every now and then, I come across something that might be worth your while.

A new article from DetoxDieter.org examines the pros and cons of intermittent fasting eating plans.(Newswire.net — January 28, 2014) — A new focus on intermittent fasting, specifically the 4:3 diet, has drawn new attention to the benefit of periodic fasting for weight loss. A new informative article from DetoxDieter.org examines benefits and drawbacks associated with intermittent fasting. It seems that people looking to lose extra fat are turning to intermittent fasting on a more frequent basis. By definition, intermittent fasting refers to consuming a set amount of calories during a specific time period, and not eating at all the rest of the time. As example, the 5:2 fasting plan encourages people to eat normally for five days, then fasting for the remaining two days a week.If intermittent fasting plans are shown to be a positive way to lose weight, they could prove to be a real health benefit for men. Research demonstrates that these eating plans appear to be popular and preferred by men.

If you read health magazines or watch shows that discuss weight loss, you have probably heard the new craze of Intermittent Fasting (IF). Basically, there is no real definition for IF, and many health experts, doctors, and book authors define it differently. I, personally, define fasting as not eating or drinking anything besides water for at least 24 hours.I am okay with people fasting since I think it is a natural process that the human body is meant to deal with. A lot of how our body stores fat and how the metabolism works is attributed to our genetic makeup tracing it back to our ancestors. These people typically went through days where they consumed adequate calories, then some days where they had very few calories.
