With so many people looking for ways to lose weight quickly, it often seems like those (both men and women) who want to know how to gain weight fast are left in the dust. Even worse, there is so much information out there about putting on weight that ranges from simply wrong to outright absurd. I know this because when I was younger, I was one of those skinny guys who was convinced that I couldn’t put on weight “because of my metabolism”.
I remember reading everything I could get my hands on to see how to gain weight, and being naive, believing everything I read like:
1. It’s all about raw calories. The type of calories is irrelevant. (Wrong.)
2. When you eat doesn’t matter. (Wrong.)
3. You need to eat junk food! (Sorry Mark Rippletoe, but even legends are wrong sometimes.)
4. You need to put on a lot of fat and then […]
