Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack time. Hard boiled, scrambled, poached, fried. We’ll take eggs any time of day, any way you want to cook ‘em. But if we had our choice, the omelet just might be our favorite. Like an edible envelope that can be stuffed with anything you desire, an omelet is a quick and healthy way to satisfy hunger. Two weeks ago, the J.J. Experiment began (week 2). J.J. Valdivia, a personal trainer in Miami, is guiding ten people as they take a 30-Day Leap into a healthy lifestyle. Let’s find out how they’re doing…
My fellow Grok and Grokettes,
It was a busy week for myself and the Leapers. Last Friday, I was joined by Mike and Georgina for a quick bodyweight session at Body Waves. They performed two sets of maximum repetitions of each of the Primal movements, and they were back at their desk before you could say “Power

A shocking claim has been made that 75% of Americans will be overweight by 2020 causing concerns about the general level of health in the U.S. in the not so distant future.
Obesity in the U.S. has been a problem for years, and despite the fitness revolution and tons great weight loss programs it doesn’t seem to be getting any better, and in fact — seems to be getting worse. The problem is especially hard to solve because as many people reading Passionate Fitness can attest to, simple lifestyle changes like dieting and exercise solve the
