A lot of people are under the false perception that bodyweight workouts are only good up to a point, but once you get really good at them and want to add more resistance – you’re out of luck.
I’m here to tell you that that’s completely untrue.
Why?
Because due to a simple law of physics, you can take the same body, with the same weight, and put it in a position that makes the exercise more challenging!
How?
By using leverage!
What you have to do is pretty simple. In general, you have to use leverage and the laws of gravity to raise part of your body up, thus making your body heavier. For instance:
1) Put your legs on a small chair and do pushups – they’re now much harder.
2) Push your legs to a longer distance when doing lunges.
3) Try doing step ups and even jump ups on a stable bench.
4) Etc…
