This year, we’re skipping the New Year’s Eve parties in favor of what we call “Noon Year’s Eve.” The idea, inspired by my friends, is that we will ring in the New Year with neighbors, school friends, and their parents at lunchtime on New Year’s Eve instead of at midnight.

Besides a cute banner, some party poppers, and balloons, all we need for hosting is a few big-batch snacks that kids will love and parents will enjoy too. I’m thinking I’ll only need five or six of these (at most), but here are 10 kid-friendly party snacks that I’m eyeing for Noon Year’s Eve and beyond.
