If there is one thing you, our readers, share with us, your friendly editors, it is a love of grocery shopping. No matter what you eat and how, the grocery store is a weekly reality for most of us; and from best buys at Costco and Trader Joe’s to budget-saving tips, we know you love to talk about grocery shopping.
But we want to do even more for you and do it better. So we’re launching a survey today to ask a little more about your grocery shopping habits. Would you help us out and take it? We’d be so grateful.
And if there are ideas you have or stories you’d like to see that go beyond our survey or that you’d like to share, by all means please tell us here in the comments. Thank you!

A couple weeks ago the internet collectively lost its mind over the fact that Costco was selling 100-calorie vodka Popsicles (again). Those sound great, and I’m sure they’re delicious, but if you really want some boozy pops, then I need you to check out the Las Vegas-based company Buzz Pop Cocktails. They’re the fancier, boozier version of the Costco ones. The Popsicles are 100 calories apiece and they’re loaded with top-shelf tequila, rum, bourbon, and vodka.

We all have our favorite grocery stores. Are you a Whole Foods, or a Publix? Do you care more about low prices, good produce, or a huge selection, or do you go to whichever store has the most convenient location? Well, the annual Market Force grocery store survey for 2018 has been released, and it looks like Wegmans is America’s favorite grocery store for the third year in a row.

A breakup is one of those dates that you don’t intentionally try to remember and don’t ever mean to commemorate. But then you’ll notice a random summer Thursday on the calendar, and it hits you why you woke up feeling slightly disconnected from … everything. All of a sudden you’re back in that kitchen that used to be familiar, listening to Michael Bolton strain through another crap love song on CBS Sunday Morning when your boyfriend — he was still, at that second, your boyfriend — says that things aren’t working and they haven’t been for a while.

When I’m in the groove, there are a bunch of little kitchen tasks I do that make me feel like I’m operating at peak productivity. The tasks range from making sure all the dishes are clean by the time I’m finished cooking — clean as you go, right? — to this little tip about prepping lemons.
Before I juice a lemon, I always zest it and add it to my zest stash in the freezer. Whenever a recipe calls for zest (or if I just need something to wake up a ho-hum recipe), I pop the bag out of the freezer and take how much I need — no fresh lemon required.

Picking a kitchen paint color is difficult. It’s something you’ll live with for quite a while, so you want something classic. If you choose a white or neutral, however, you run the risk of it being too boring, or even too cold. Go the other way and indulge your love for color, and there’s a chance you’ll get tired of your choice.
Here’s a trick: go two-tone. It adds nice dimension and lets you explore a little bit of color, without overdoing things. Here are five great ways to add two colors — and ensure that you love the room for a long, long time.

A significant number of my friends are real-life rock musicians, armchair rock musicians, or just music nerds, which is why I’ve been excitedly refreshing a Facebook post about which rock legends have played the same instruments for huge chunks of their careers.
You know, like how Charlie Watts, the drummer for the Rolling Stones, has sat behind the same Gretsch drum set for 40 years, Queen guitarist Brian May has played the same handmade Red Special since 1963, and, most famously, Willie Nelson has used “Trigger,” his worn-out, barely held-together Martin guitar since 1969.

Like a lot of people, I have a small home kitchen and have to be very selective about what tools take up my limited counter, drawer, or cupboard space. I’ve been skipping the fancy cold brew systems in favor of a multi-purpose strainer and some cheesecloth that fits tidily into a drawer for my big batches of cold brew. That was until a very smart reader pointed me to a space-saving tool that has vastly improved my cold brew coffee at home.
This small upgrade is cheap, fits in a drawer, and eliminates a big step from my brewing process. And chances are some of you already have one in your kitchen. Here’s the one product that will change how you cold brew coffee this summer.
