It was my coach’s suggestion for helping me improve my pacing for this weekend’s race. Doing the 10km is no problem, I’m an endurance runner, but doing the 10km under a specific time..

More and more trainers suggest that it may bet better to lift weights and do the occasional HIIT sessions for everyone – irrespective of your body weight, health and training status. What if I told you that if you did four minutes of exercise fat would melt off your body? You would probably think Joe you are full of it.
Well it is possible, But it does come with a huge WARNING. This is a very intense workout and IS Not for everyone.
Welcome To Tabata Training
The basis of Tabata Training is 4 minutes of intense interval training/circuit training. What you are doing is taking an exercise weamp;#39;ll use sprints as an example here.
Sprint as hard as you can for 20 seconds
Walk for 10 seconds
Repeat 7 more times for a total of 8 sets.
So what you have is a total of 4 minutes of workout time.
